Wisdom

Flowery Tree in Pot

In the last twenty years, my friend, wisdom has become a rare thing.  Perhaps that is because of the amount of importance that modern humanity places upon it.  It is probably lower on the scale, to most people than having a BMW!  Or is it just that none of us feel we have any wisdom, and, those out there, making the decisions don’t convince us otherwise, with their behavior?

These days, people with the greatest wisdom can be found in the lowest places (according to society’s ranking), uttering words that their superiors think must come from another planet.

I have to say that I have seen a glimmer that this is changing. But don't look for it among the decision-makers. Look for it where all new things come from - the pioneers.

Who are the pioneers? Those who are presenting "new" ways of doing things. Those who are thinking thoughts, and presenting ideas that seem radical and different. That is the territory of the pioneer.

How will you know them? Because they smell of wisdom and of truth. How do you sense wisdom and truth? With your heart.
