Limitations

There are many different kinds of prisons: those that befall us and those we build ourselves.  How is it that we can be intelligent, but not wise enough to see how we limit ourselves in so many ways?

Perhaps the first step in dissolving a prison is being so very sad, genuinely sorry, that we can't seem to live a happier life.  This is important.

In thinking this, we are loving ourselves and wishing better for ourselves.  This is not the concept that people are using out there, when they push and demand for themselves above the needs of others.  This is selfish in nature and is only creating karma which will come back to them.

Self-love, in its truest sense, is not selfishness.  Pure love breeds unselfishness.
